Stealing (borrowing for a long period of time) my sisters Depeche Mode and New Order tapes when I was in Jr High was one of the best choices I made as a young lass. Flash forward to moving to Denver in the early 90’s and being exposed to the underground scene and listening to The Orb for the first time. Then being enlightened by producers and DJ’s like FSOL, Orbital, Meat Beat Manifesto, Doc Martin, Dj Garth,Fila Brazilia and Housey Doings. How do they do that stuff ? My cousins and I jumped in with a Yamaha drum machine, a Korg MonoPoly, and a ridiculous amount of effects. A lot of upgrades, research, computer software, and sharing ideas with our fellow artists — here we are.
