Ruby Weeks

Ruby Weeks is Adam Walker. Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he began sequencing music on a Commodore Amiga 500 in 1990. It was love at first bleep. In 1993 he got his first sampler, the Emax II, and promptly quit school to travel and make music. Indianapolis, Honolulu and Detroit were all cities where he met many kind electronically inclined musicians, and honed his craft.

Inspired by the sounds of the Shoegazers and the Djs, Adam has helped to form two unique and successful bands…the ground-breaking electronic group the 19.5 Collective (a.k.a. NPFC) and the electro-folk-rock trio The Twilight Babies. Both groups have released multiple cds, produced audio for television and film, and won numerous awards. Other projects include:
Moon Is On – intelligent down-tempo electronica
Creamy Water Quiz- experimental free-form analog mayhem
Acronyms Save Space – ambient trip-hop excursions.

Currently Adam is working on documentary soundtracks, playing live with Twilight Babies and making all matter of electronic music for Toggle Recordings.
